TO: Don Pauley <br />FROM: John Cafarella 11, <br />SUBJECT: Proposed Women's Pro Wrestling at Bel -Rae Ballroom <br />Proposed Facility: Bel -Rae Ballroom <br />Proposed Datrs: Wednesday, June 29, 1983 and Wednesday, July 20, 1983 <br />8:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. <br />Approximate Number of spectators: 1,500 <br />Security: Four Off Duty Policemen <br />WWWA Crowd Control Personnel <br />Paramedic Team will also be on hand during the course of the <br />events. <br />Detail of Proposed Events: <br />1. The events will include two separate well -rehearsed, four <br />match wrestling cards. One on June;19, 1983 and one on July <br />20, 1983• Each match would range in duration from 7 to 28 <br />minutes and will be held in a regulation ring. There will be <br />2-fifteen minute intermissions during each event. The partici- <br />pants will be escorted to and from the ring area by security <br />personnel. <br />2. The WWWA will furnish proof of a $300,000 spectator lia- <br />bility insurance policy for the event night 2 weeks prior to <br />each event listing the City of Moundsview as an additional <br />insured. Also, the WWWA will furnish the city with a signed <br />release form from each participant releasing the city and <br />the Bel -Rae Ballroom from any liability, should they be in- <br />jured in any manner during the course of the event. <br />3, 101 Radio Personality, Chris Edmonds, will be the Master <br />of Ceremonies. The eventi .:ill be promoted via TV, radio, <br />and print in the Twin Cities Metro Area. <br />I wI <br />
