Consent , �a <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion/Second, Doty/llankner to have the first read- <br />ing o r finance No. 335, amending Chapter 39 of the <br />municipal code of the City of Mounds View, entitled, <br />"Signs and Billboards" and waive the reading of the <br />ordinance. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Councilmember Doty asked that Attorney Meyers check <br />the language in 39.14 (7) to consider adding the <br />work "one", as in "any one property", before the <br />next reading. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported it is Staff's <br />recommendation, per his memo of April 4, 1983, <br />that the Council authorize Staff to undertake the <br />effort to inform the residents of the community of <br />the Enerev Conservation Service oroRram. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Linke to authorize Staff <br />to i e Fagrant application for, and participate <br />in, the Minnesota Energy Conservation Service <br />program. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reviewed the proposed <br />modifications to Chapter 107. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Blanchard to have the first <br />reading of the amendment to Ordinance 337, Chapter <br />107 of the municipal code, and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Director Johnson reported on the number of permits <br />issued, inspections done, planning applications <br />received, and wetland alteration permits processed. <br />He reported the elderly housing project should be <br />occupied by May 1 or so.
