Mounds View City Council July 26, 1982 <br />Regular Meeting Page Five <br />----------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />The Council directed Clerk/Administrator Pauley <br />to draft a resolution of appreciation and thanks <br />1 for everyone involved in the Festival. They also <br />stated the Council could send a letter to everyone <br />involved, and have the Festivities Commission come <br />in to a Council meeting, to give their thanks <br />personally. <br />Councilmember Hodges had no report. <br />Mayor McCarty had no report. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained that Reso- 17. Report of <br />lution No. 1470 was the first step in the process Administrator <br />of setting assessments for the Silver Lake Woods <br />improvement project 1981-3, and that the notice <br />of the hearing must be published on August 5, <br />before the next Council meeting. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Hodges to approve Reso- <br />1-UH-on—IN-F-7770 and waive the reading. <br />3 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported he had received <br />notice from the MAMA negotiating committee that <br />negotiations with AFL/CIO Local 49, which is the <br />public works union, will be going into mediation <br />on Augusr 18, lie added, however, chat they have <br />success with mediation in the past. <br />Mayor McCarty asked the status of the Council's <br />request to the Planning Commission for further <br />information regarding their decision on County Road <br />J. Director Johnson replied that he has discussed <br />it with the Planning Commission and will be preparing <br />a report which will be in the agenda packet. <br />Motion/Second: Hodges/Blanchard to adjourn the 18.
