Park" included an ecumenical <br />church sarvicu, relrushmputs, youth parade, color guard, showmobile entertainment, <br />bingo, ynuth and adult games and a Lot air ballonn rare; and <br />WHEREAS, thu afternoon and evening YLIVIL Y were concluded with a spec- <br />tacular firewnrks display; and <br />WHEREAS, the entire afternoon and evening was made possible through the <br />generous and dedicated donation of vuluntuor labor and time from not only the <br />Festivities Commission Members but also other civic interested residents. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, on behalf of the rosideuLs of Mound, Vlew, hereby congratulate and heartily <br />commend each of the. 19112 rpstivitips Commission Members including Shirley Munholand, <br />Chairperson; Barb McCluskey, Sandra Shackle., Russell Warren, Dorothy Willhaus, <br />Mark Mack, Patricia Coffey, Cindy Wermager, Tom Gow, Shirley Buntrock and <br />Mary Saarion for their outstanding contribution; and <br />HE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Lhv City Council of the City of Mounds View also <br />extends their thanks and appreciation to the Mounds View Parks and Recreation Depart- <br />ment and their staff for their involvement in making the "Festival in the Park" a <br />success; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds View <br />commend the city Public Works Department for their efforts in preparing the grounds <br />for the 1982 "Festival in the Park" <br />Adopted this 9th day of August, 1982. <br />ATTEST; <br />Tayor Duane McCarty <br />...1�it i! l . _.... <br />Cou. cilanemtier Ilodges <br />/Couc(�:iliaioiiihcr lSlanchard <br />i <br />(SEAL) <br />s <br />Councilmember Forslund <br />.Councilmember Doty <br />
