Page Five <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />brought it well above the specified level, and <br />^auld like to speak to someone about this, as he <br />2s not feel it should be classified a wetland. <br />was directed to speak: to Director of Public Works/ <br />Community Development Johnson. <br />Keith Harstad stated his objections have been noted <br />through Mr. Malkerson, and that he personally <br />vehemently objects to the ordinance. He stated he <br />owns three parcels which are substantially affected <br />by this ordinance. Mr. Harstad asked that the <br />ordinance be tabled to allow time for them to discuss <br />it further and have their questions answered. <br />Joseph Goebel, 8121 Long Lake Road, identified him- <br />^lf as a professional soil scientist and geologist, <br />and stated he was very pleased to see the City has <br />finally come forward with a very responsible ordi- <br />nance on the wetlands. He added the issue came out <br />of the City's total water problem, and he feels that <br />wetlands can contribute to the overall quality of <br />life in the City of Mounds View. <br />After asking for any additional comments and <br />receiving none, Mayor McCarty closed the public <br />hearing and reopened the regular meeting at 8:22 PM. <br />.here were no residents requests or comments from 5.
