Mounds View City Council <br />Regulaz Meeting <br />----------------------------------------- <br />lotion/Second: McCarty/Forslund to approve and <br />1 opt Resolution No. 1498 and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />September 27, 1982 <br />Page Three <br />-------------------------- <br />Mayor McCarty closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the public hearing at 7:55 PM. <br />Finance Director Brager reviewed the proposed 1983 <br />general fund budget. <br />There were no comments from the audience. <br />Mayor McCarty closed the public hearing and reopened <br />the regular meeting at 8:07 PM. <br />Mayor McCarty thanked Staff for the tremendous job <br />they had done on the budget, He explained the Council <br />had decided to begin the process of building a reserve <br />for the general fund as a hedge against a loss of <br />revenue from the State in the future. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Doty to readjust the contin- <br />ency 00-120-4910 down $7,994. <br />i ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported that would change <br />the general fund 180, Maintenance Garage, to $55,086, <br />and the contingency to $24,000 and the fund general <br />balance to $22,994. <br />Motion/Second: Hodges/Blanchard to approve Reso- <br />ution No. 99 and waive the reading, as amended <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion/Second: Fors lund/ Blanchard to approve Reso- <br />lution N�00 and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion/Second: Doty/Forslund to approve Resolution <br />1, 1501 and waive the reading. <br />ayes 0 nays <br />9.
