The basic vehicle that <br />the city is considering purchase of would be a one ton truck with a <br />12 foot contractors box which would meet most of the criteria established <br />in the enclosed specification list, but the city is willing to consider <br />a variety of vehicles and/or proposals for a similar type of vehicle. <br />The vehicle will mainly be used in our parks depattment for hauling small <br />loads of material as well as emptying trash, etc. and will be used on a <br />regular basis so that gas mileage and dependability are of the utmost <br />in priority. Should you have a vehicle you feel meets the city's min- <br />imum criteria, feel free to contact myself at (612) 784-3055, extension <br />no. 41. The City Council will be considering the purchase of either <br />a used or new vehicle in mid -November and we would ask that you submit <br />your proposal or contact myself no later than 12:00 noon on Wednesday, <br />November 10.
