49.02 <br />49,02 Ccneral Provisions. <br />Subdivision 1. Lands to Which Chapter Applies. This <br />Chapter shall apply to all lands within the jurisdiction of Mounds <br />View shown on the Flood Plain Zoning Map as being located within the <br />100-year flood boundary. These lands are delineated as flood insurance <br />zones A-1, A-2, A-3, A-4, A-G, A-7 or AH. <br />Subdivision 2. Establishment of Flood Plain Zoning Map. <br />Tile Flood Plain Zoning Map together with all materials attached <br />thereto is hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part <br />of this ordinance. The attached material shall include the Flood <br />Insurance Study for the City of Mounds View prepared by the Federal <br />Insurance Administration dated and the Flood <br />Boundary and Floodway Maps and Flood Insurance Rate Maps therein. r~� <br />The Official Zoning Map shall be on file in the Office of the <br />Clerk -Administrator. <br />Subdivision 3. Regulatory Flood Protection Elevation. The <br />Regulatory Flood Protection Elevation shall be an elevation no <br />lower than one foot above the elevation of the regional flood. <br />Subdivision 4. Interpretation. <br />(a) In their interpretation and application, the provisions <br />of this Ordinance shall be held to be minimum require- <br />ments and shall be liberally construed in favor of the <br />governing body and shall not be deemed a limitation or <br />repeal of any other powers o•:anted by State Statutes. <br />(b) The boundaries of the zoning districts shall be <br />determined by scaling distances on the Flood Plain �) <br />0 <br />
