He added they <br />will be coming in under budget, and all three build- <br />ings will be ready no later than December 1. <br />There was discussion regarding payment of fees for <br />building permits, and the question was raised who <br />would pay the highway permit fees for moving the <br />buildings. Park Director Anderson was directed to <br />check into those fees, and it was pointed out the <br />Council had not signed the purchase agreement yet, <br />in which those fees are assigned. <br />Motion/Second: Blanchard/Hodges to rescind the <br />Fes or t e building permits for the three park <br />shelter buildings, but they must still retain <br />the requirements. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion Carried <br />Attorney Meyers stated he would meet with Park <br />Director Anderson and Mr. Ernst on October 13 <br />and work out an understanding on the fees. <br />Park Director Anderson reviewed the recommendation <br />12. Consideratir <br />from the Park and Rec Commission, endorsing the <br />Staff Memo <br />program in the City, <br />ing Golden GJ 1 <br />Boxing Program <br />Mayor McCarty stated he was concerned with the <br />City being held liable for any injuries. Park <br />Director Anderson replied that the Golden Gloves <br />sponsors are willing to enter into an agreement <br />with the City to hold them harmless for any <br />liability. Attorney Meyers recommended they <br />should also file a certificate of insurance. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Doty to endorse the Golden <br />oves ox ng program at the Edgewood Community <br />Resources Center, contingent upon receipt of the <br />hold -harmless agreement in favor of the City and <br />endorsement upon any insurance Golden Gloves may <br />have in the case of a lawsuit, referring to <br />liability. <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Motion/Second: Blanchard/Forslund to amend the <br />previous motion to include that there will be a <br />six month trial period. <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Card 1 <br />
