MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Director of Public Works/Community Development <br />DATE:• November 2, 1982 <br />SUBJECT: LETTER FROM FIRE CHIEF RON FAGERSTROM CONCERNING <br />STREET NAMES IN THE SILVER LAKE WOODS ADDITION <br />Attached is a copy of the letter received from Ron Fagerstrom <br />dated October 19, 1982, and a copy of the memo from Police Chief <br />Grabowski dated November 2, 1982, concering the street names and <br />addresses in the Silver Lake Woods Plat. Staff has reviewed the <br />situation and determined that in order to change the street names, <br />as requested by Mr. Fagerstrom, it would require an ordinance revi- <br />sion. It does not appear that an ordinance revision and street name <br />change would be necessary if the house numbers, as originally pro- <br />posed along Park View Terrace and Drive, be changed so that duplicate <br />addresses do not occur. It is further noted that there will be no <br />buildings with addresses on Silver View Drive up near Trunk highway <br />10, therefore, the concern expressed by Mr. Fagerstrom appears to <br />have been resolved. <br />Staff, therefore, recommends to the City Council that instead of <br />changing the street names as requested by Mr. Fagerstrom that we <br />modify the building addresses.
