MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Director of Public Works/Community Development <br />DATE: November 10, 1982 <br />SUBJECT: FINAL REPORT ON INFILTRATION/INFLOW STUDY <br />Attached is a copy of the T.K.D.A. report on the Infiltration/Inflow <br />Study. Mr. Ed Smith of T.K.D.A. will make a presentation to the City <br />Council at 7:30 p.m. on November 15, 1982. <br />Staff would suggest the City Council review the following key <br />sections of the report: <br />1) Figure 3, Page 2-11 (Map of Sewer System) <br />2) Table 12, Page 3-17; Table 14, page 3-21 <br />3) Table 16, Page 3-29; Table 17, Page 3-30 <br />4) Page 3-32; Table 19, Page 3-34 <br />5) Section 4, Cost -Effectiveness Analysis, Pages 4-1 through 4-17 <br />6) Section 5, Conclusions and Recommendations, Pages 5-1 <br />through 5-2 <br />Staff recommends that the City Council be prepared to discuss whether <br />a modified sewer evaluation study and/or survey is warranted in 1983. <br />If study is warranted, should the cost be included in sewer budget. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me. <br />JCJ/bc <br />Attachment <br />
