Public Hea• 11 <br />projected 1983 income statements for the water Sewer and 1 [r <br />utilities and sewer utilities, and also gave examples Budgets and <br />of how much revenue could be earned by raising the Rates <br />rates various levels. <br />Mayor McCarty closed the public hearing and reopened <br />the regular meeting at 7:50 PM. <br />Finance Director Brager answered questions from the <br />Council regarding the proposed budget. <br />Mayor McCarty pointed out the high percentage of the <br />sewer charge which goes to the MWCC, and stated it <br />would be separated on bills in the future. He also <br />recommended tabling any action on the budget or rate <br />increases, in light of the State's financial crisis. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Forslund to table indefinitely <br />any rate increase in the utility funds. <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Finance Director Brager recommended to the Council <br />that they place a freeze on any type of capital <br />purchases, until the State financial crisis is <br />solved. <br />
