RESOLUTION No, 1532 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING TIIR 19113 WATER & SEWER FUNDS BUDGETS <br />WIIEIIEAS, the StaLa of Minnusota is facing a significant <br />fiscal crisis during the rmsnining aovon months of their 1982-83 <br />blonnlum an n result of n projected shortfall in revenues <br />rouRllA ng in n $312 million dufici.t•I and <br />WHEREAS, n deficit of $1,5 billion is projected by the <br />State of MinnosuLn in the 1904-85 biennium; and <br />WIII;IIEAS, a likely resolution of the State of Minnesota's <br />fiscal, crisiu may rounit in increases in income and sales taxes; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Mounds View desires <br />to minimize the total impact• of the various taxes and fees for <br />services paid by ita citizens for various governmental services; <br />BE IT RESOINEp by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View that the present wntor rate of $0.55 per 1,000 gallons will <br />remain in affect for the cnlrndar year 1983 and that the budget <br />for calendar year 1983 shall be: <br />REVENUES <br />Water Sales <br />$206,800.00 <br />Penalties & Interest <br />1,500.00 <br />Connection Fees <br />3,320.00 <br />Permits <br />500.00 <br />Investment Income <br />70,000.00 <br />Other Revenues <br />750.00 <br />TOTAL REVENUES $292,870.00 <br />EXPENSES <br />Operations $229,793.00 <br />Depreciation 9,525.00 <br />Contingency 15,000.00 <br />TOTAL EXPENSES 254,318.00 <br />INCOME $ 38,552.00 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View that the present sewer use rate of $24.50 per <br />Residential Equivalent Connection (REC) per quarter will remain <br />in effect for calendar year 1983 and that the budget for calendar <br />year 1983 shall be: <br />
