WDold <br />MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Clerk-Administrat <br />DATE: December 22, 1982 <br />SUBJECT: GOLDEN GLOVES APPLICATION FOR GAMBLING DEVICE LICENSE <br />AND BOXING PERMIT <br />Attached please find an application from Golden Gloves, Inc. <br />requesting a license to conduct a Las Vegas Fun Night on Monday, <br />January 10, 1983 at the Bel -Rae Ballroom, as well as holding <br />Golden Gloves boxing matches. Also attached to the application is <br />a letter from Golden Gloves requesting that the $100.00 fee for <br />the boxing event be waived as it is being conducted by a non-profit <br />corporation. <br />The license fees for these permits are $100.00 for the gambling <br />device license and $100.00 for each boxing event. <br />Staff would request Council direction regarding the approval of the <br />application and charging of fees. <br />DFP/Pf <br />Attachment <br />.i <br />
