-2- <br />The Tten Chevrolet bid for both the Tml,ala and Malibu meets all <br />specifications and the City has had good operating experience with <br />Chevrolets. <br />A general comparison of the vehicles bid, based on price, compliance <br />with specifications, and operating experience, leads staff to recommend <br />the purchase of the Ford Crown Victoria "S" as bid by Minar Ford at <br />the price of $9,866.25, however, this recommendation does not take into <br />consideration any matters relating to propane conversion which is still <br />being investigated and, as previously stated, will be reported on <br />during your January 24th meeting. <br />Should you have any questions regarding the bids received or require <br />any additional information prior to the Council Meeting, please do not <br />hesitate to contact staff. <br />DFP/pf <br />M <br />
