ORDINANCE NO. 333 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MlNNESOTA <br />AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />BY AMENDING CHAPTER 32 ENTITLED, <br />"THE PLANNING COMMISSION" <br />The Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby ordain: <br />SECTION I. Chapter 32.05, Subdivision 4, is hereby amended <br />to read as follows: <br />32.05, Subdivision 4. Bylaws, Records. The Commission shall <br />adopt bylaws for its governance and for the transaction of its <br />business. The bylaws shall be reviewed on an annual basis at the <br />first regular meeting in February. A recording secretary, who may <br />be recommended by the Planning Commission for appointment, shall <br />keep a record.of attendance at Commission meetings, a record of <br />resolutions, transactions, findings and determinations, and a record <br />of the votes and abstentions on each question requiring a vote. The <br />record of the Commission shall be a public record. <br />SECTION II. Chapter 32.07 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />32.07 shall be amended to read as follows: <br />32.07 Reports. Removal From Office. An appointed member of the <br />Commission may be removed from office for just cause and on written <br />charges by at least four/fifths vote of the entire City Council, but <br />such member shall be entitled to a public hearing before such vote is <br />taken. In addition, an appointed member may be removed for non- <br />attendance at Planning Commission meetings as provided in the bylaws <br />adopted by the Planning Commission. It shall be the duty of the <br />Chairman of the Commission to notify the City Council promptly of any <br />vacancies occurring in membership. The Mayor, with approval of the <br />City Council, shall fill such vacancies for the unexpired term of the <br />original appointment. <br />Subdivision 2. Termination of Appointment. Any Commission <br />member aesiring to terminate his/her appointment to the Commission <br />before the expiration of the term, shall give written notification to <br />the Planning Conillil3sion Chairman of his/her intention. <br />
