MEMO TO: Mayor and City Coun i I <br />FROM: Clerk -Administrator <br />DATE: February 10, 1983 <br />SUBJECT: PROPANE CONVERSION <br />Pursuant to your direction at the February 7, 19?3 Agenda Session, <br />staff contacted representatives of Texgas Corporation who agreed <br />to match the price for vehicle conversion of the lowest vendor, <br />that being $3,689.55. Attached please find a letter dated <br />February 91 1983 from Texgas Corporation agreeing to these new <br />prices. <br />Based on the revised Texgas Corporation proposal, staff would <br />recommend the award of a contract for the conversion of five <br />City vehicles to propane at a total cost of $3,689.55, as well as <br />a contract for the supply of propane fuel to the City of Mounds <br />view per their proposal dated December 3, 1982 and in conformance <br />with the City's specification. <br />DFP/pf <br />Attachment <br />
