f <br />MEMO TO: <br />FROM: <br />DATE: <br />Mayor and City Counc• <br />Clerk -Administrator <br />March 11, 1983 <br />SUBJECT: O'NEIL UNITED SHOWS - CARNIVAL LICENSE APPLICATION <br />Attached please find an application from O'Neil United Shows for <br />the conduct of a carnival at Mounds View Square from May loth through <br />May 15th, 1983. The application has been reviewed by the City <br />Police Department, Fire Department, and Building Inspector and <br />found to be acceptable conditioned upon the provisions of the <br />attached agreement which would be entered into between O'Neil United <br />Shows and the City of Mounds View. This agreement provides for <br />inspection of the carnival prior to its opening for business by the <br />City's Fire Department, Building Inspector, and Electrical Inspector <br />and places limits on the hours of operation during various days of <br />the week. These restrictions are identical to those placed on <br />previous carnival operations at the ."•;ounds Vie:: Square. <br />Staff would recommend Council approval of this application with <br />an authorization for the agreement during your March 28th Council <br />Meeting. <br />DFP/pf <br />Attachments <br />
