Mounds View City Council March 14, 1983 <br />Regular Meeting Page Two <br />----------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />Motion Second: Linke/Blanchard to approve the consent <br />agen a as presented and waive the reading of the <br />resolutions. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Director Johnson reported he had presented a <br />memo to the Council a week ago regarding the status <br />of new Trunk Highway 10. He explained the City has <br />been requested to send a letter from the Mayor to <br />the Commissioner of Transportation, stating the <br />City is in support of it and outlining the reasons <br />why. <br />It was the concensus of the Council that Mayor <br />McCarty should send a letter of support to the <br />Commissioner of Transportation. <br />Motion/Second: Doty/11ankner to approve the request <br />to iri Fe Frr..�ohn Grahm as a part-time Water Depart- <br />ment employee, at the rate of $5.00 per hour, <br />beginning June 13, 1983 for 100 working days. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Director Johnson presented the Council with a copy <br />of the sketch of the Miller property, showing the <br />areas that had been reevaluated. He added he has <br />pictures available for the Council to look at. <br />Attorney Meyers had no report. <br />Councilmember Blanchard stated she had been getting <br />phone calls regarding dog problems and suggested <br />the City do something regarding a CSO officer. <br />Motion/Second: Blanchard/Doty to have Staff <br />investigate the cost and so forth of hiring a <br />CSO officer, and report back to the Council. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Councilmember Doty had no report. <br />Councilmember Linke had no report. <br />COUnailthember Hahkner bid no report. <br />Motion Carried <br />6.
