Three (3) <br />were employed as Advanced Lifesavers at an hourly wage of <br />$4.31 and Lwu (2) were employed as Water Safety Instructors at <br />an hourly wage of $5.37. One was employed as Waterfront <br />DirveLor aL ,i salary of $3,500.00. (See the exact list in the <br />appendix of Lhis report.) <br />The amount budgeted for staff was $14,700.00 and the amount expvd <br />t. <br />was $13,889.55. Budgeted amounL for beach equipment, maintenant , <br />and ;ill operaling co!;(!; olhur Lhan lifeguard stiff was $9,000.00; <br />actual amount expended was $6,759.70. <br />The LoLal amount budgeted for the beach operations was $22,500.00 <br />of which $20,649.25 wa=.actually expended showing an over-projecti <br />of $1,950.75. <br />The beach received actual revenue (other than donations from the <br />two cities) by means of lessons and concessions. Budgeted was <br />$800.00 for lesson revenue with actual receipts of $456.00 <br />therefore showing a ($344,00) under -projection. Budgeted was <br />$200.00 revenue for concessions and actual receipts gained was <br />$386.79 therefore showing a $186.79 over -projection. 4 <br />
