Approval of <br />for discussion. <br />Consent 49-nda <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Blanchard to approve the <br />consent agenda, minus Items E and F, and waive the <br />reading of the resolutions. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion Carried <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained that Norb <br />Yenish was present, and had met with Staff earlier <br />in the day and expressed a desire to address the <br />Council regarding Item 3 on Appendix 2A of his <br />development agreement, concerning sprinklers. <br />Mr. Yenish explained that the sprinklers were not <br />required when he first checked the City code, and <br />this requirement will totally change his plans <br />for his hotel development. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Doty to table the project <br />until such time as the developer has provided the <br />City with all the required information. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion Carried <br />Mayor McCarty explained the City does not have the <br />/ <br />final plat yet from Mr. Yenish, and he is not willing <br />to approve something he has not seen. <br />Mr. Yenish's engineer explained that there was a <br />misunderstanding in talking to Staff, as it is just <br />a matter of showing the property line being moved. <br />Director Johnson stated that after the second reading <br />of proposed Ordinance No. 342, it would be another 40 <br />days or so before the code would take effect, and <br />asked if the Council intends to require sprinklers <br />for this particular building. <br />Mayor McCarty replied that they should be required in the <br />Development Agreement, as the Council is responsible for <br />the public health, safety, and welfare. <br />Motion/Second: Doty/Linke to have the second reading 7. 2nd Reading an <br />an a option of Ordinance No. 342, an ordinance Adoption of <br />amending Chapter 63.05 of the Municipal Code of the Ord.
