July 25, 1983 <br />Mounds View City Council tt',,- 1 T Page Pive <br />Regular Meeting U i-i3'J� 1l_ Y _�--__ ----------------- <br />ouncilmember Linke asked, as per the agenda meeting, it <br />�irector Johnson was guaranteeing completion of the <br />project by December 31, 1983, within the hours specified. <br />Director Johnson replied that he is estimating the work <br />ed <br />and <br />will be completed by the number of hours ppearsladditional <br />he would come back to the Council if it appears <br />hours would be required. <br />Councilmember Linke stated he would like an assurance that <br />the items will be finished by the end of the year, and he <br />wants to make sure the additional 481 hours will see to <br />that. He also stated that he would like to see the hours <br />set to be used as <br />sufficientDtimetor to thle��Cityson ltolied <br />pled <br />that he is pledging , S <br />complete the projects. <br />Mayor Mcrarty clarified that the Coouncl's stand projects <br />is that <br />Director Johnson is guaranteeingcomplete <br />in the number of hoursspecified, and that <br />ifethingethe Council <br />pulls him off a project <br />additional time would be allowed. <br />Attorney Meyers stated that the clause regarding termi- <br />nation by just cause would cover the situation if the <br />work was not completed, and the Council could terminate <br />the contract.
