r <br />Mf:MO 'I'0: Clerk-AdminisLrator and City Council <br />( PROM: Engineering/Planning 'Technician r1f <br />DATE: August 9, 1983 <br />SUBJECT: ORDINANCE NOS. 233 AND 334 <br />Attached please find Ordinance Nos. 333 (amending Chapter 42, "The <br />Planning Commission") and 334 (amending Chapter 43, "Mobile Homes"). <br />These two ordinances were reviewed by the City Council at the <br />February 7, 1983 Agenda Session but were never placed on a regular <br />meeting agenda for a first reading. <br />Prior to the Agenda Session, the Planning Commission recommended <br />these amendments by adopting resolution Nos. 71-83 and 72-83. <br />Copies of these two resolutions are also attached for your review. <br />The amendments to Chapter 43, "Mobile Homes" (Ordinance No. 334) <br />relate to language proposed to regulate the placement of manufactured <br />homes within the City of Mounds View. Language was added whereby <br />manufactured homes are prohibited in Mounds View except as allowed <br />under recently adopted language included in Chapter 40.06, Subdivi- <br />sion F. 40.06, Subdivision F, regulates the size of structures <br />placed on R-1 lots among other items. <br />Ordinance No. 333 are revisions to the Chapter entitled, "The <br />Planning Commission", as recommend by the Planning Commission. <br />Attorney Meyers has reviewed the ordinances and has no objection <br />to them. <br />These items are placed on this agenda session agenda for discussion <br />and possible first reading on August 22nd.
