Consideration <br />to the Council, concerning the 1983 sealcoat and <br />of Staff Memo <br />street repairs. Consideration <br />to the Council concerning a consultant for review <br />of Staff Memo <br />of the Miller Industrial Park wetland data. <br />Regarding Hiring <br />a Consultant to <br />Acting Mayor Blanchard stated she felt a third <br />Review Wetland <br />party was necessary to protect the integrity of <br />Issued Raised <br />the wetland ordinance. <br />Per Miller <br />Industrial Park <br />Motion/Second: Doty/Linke to allow Staff to <br />Proposal <br />proceed with a working agreement with Braun <br />Engineering Testing, and develop a working <br />contract to have them study and review the existing <br />field data, supplement field data as necessary, <br />analyze existing soil and vegatative materials as <br />they relate to the wetland areas, analyze ground <br />water hydrologic conditions, establish or assess <br />near and long term impacts on site wetland charac- <br />teristics due to variances in hydrologic cycles and <br />existing man-made features, and recommend to the <br />City what, if any, changes can be considered <br />to the area regulated by the wetland ordinance, in <br />conjunction with the Miller Industrial Park, with the <br />cost not to exceed $5,000, with the funds to come <br />from the SWM fund. <br />3 ayes 1 nay <br />Motion Carried <br />Councilmember Hankner stated she had voted against <br />the motion as she felt that spending the money for <br />a consulting engineering firm may not be the best <br />use of the money when there are State professionals <br />available to the City to use, <br />
