60.01 <br />CHAPTER 60 <br />BUILDING CODE AND LICENSE FEES <br />60.01. STATE BUILDING CODE. Effective July 1, 1972, all <br />building within the Municipality shall be regulated by Laws 1971, <br />Chapter 561. <br />60.02. ADOPTION OF MINNESOTA STATE BUILDING CODE. There <br />is hereby adopted by Mounds View for the purpose of providing <br />uniform standards to safeguard life or limb, health, property and <br />public welfare by regulating and controlling design, construc- <br />tion, quality of materials, use and occupancy of all buildings <br />and structures, the Minnesota State Building Code, 1980 Edition, <br />as amended from time to time. LICENSES. <br />Subdivision 1. Licenses Required. Before any person, <br />firm, or corporation shall engage in the business of doing or <br />performing any of the work set forth in Subdivision 2 in the <br />Municipality, they shall first obtain a license to do so as more <br />fully provide for in this chapter. <br />Subdivision 2. Work Licensed. <br />(1) Asphalt <br />(2) Excavating and Filling <br />(3) Fence Installing <br />(4) Gas Suppliers <br />(5) General Construction <br />(6) Heating, Air Conditioning or Refrigeration <br />(7) Hot Water Heating <br />(8) Masonry <br />(9) Plaster, Stucco or Lathing <br />(16) Roofing <br />(11) Sewer and Water <br />(12) Sheet Rock <br />(13) Sign and Hillhoard (Cross References Chapter 39.06) <br />(14) Swimming Pool Installers <br />
