Smith <br />DATE: September 29, 1983 <br />RE: EASTWOOD ROAD STREET LIGHT <br />After reviewing the material submitted to 'Ile by the City <br />Engineering/Planning Technician and doing an on site evaluation <br />I recommend installation of a streetlight on the south property <br />line of 8432 Eastwood Road. <br />My evaluation is based on the following points: <br />1) Eastwood Road is presently illuminated by lights <br />at area across from 8480 Eastwood Road and at area <br />of Eastwood Road and Ardan Avenue. <br />r <br />2) The portion of street between the above mentioned <br />lights is extremely long and two streetlights are <br />actually required. <br />3) The safety and welfare of residents in the area <br />from which the petition originated would be greatly <br />enhanced by the additional street lighting. <br />4) Placing the streetlight further to the north would <br />defeat the purpose by coming into proximity of the <br />existing light. <br />5) A power pole at the rear of 8432 Eastwood Road make <br />installation of a light feasible at that address. <br />
