10 <br />P <br />f 1 MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Director of Public Works/Community Development <br />DATE: September 8, 1983 <br />SUBJECT: DYNAMIC DESIGNERS REZONING, CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, <br />WETLAND ALTERATION PERMIT AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br />Attached is a copy of Ordinance No. 348 and Resolution No. 1653. <br />Per Council request, the following language is presented to be <br />added to Item 6 in the resolution to address maintenance within <br />the wetland area: <br />a) The wetland area shall be maintained waste debris free upon <br />completion of construction. <br />b) Wetland area may be landscaped as long as the existing <br />topography is not altered. <br />c) Normal turf maintenance should be practiced within 20 feet <br />of building line. <br />d) Low maintenance areas shall not be allowed to become a fire <br />hazard. <br />c) All structural improvements (i.e., fences, playgroun <br />equipment, storage sheds) shall be installed in wetland area <br />only if the wetland alteration permit is amended by <br />procedure in Chapter 48. It is further required that the <br />above conditions become part of protection covenants and <br />filed as part of the land title records. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Council approve Resolution No. 1653 with the <br />above addition and Ordinance 348. <br />JCJ/bc <br />
