July 21,1983 <br />Dear police Commission: <br />As a citizen of Mounds View and past member of the council. I would like <br />to recommend that you give serious thought to recommending Tim Ramacher <br />as our next Chief of police. I have known Tim since 1970 and have been <br />very impressed with him and his work. Tim not only understands the citzens <br />of Mounds View but has a great working relations with us. I found Tim <br />to be especially good with the young people in our city, which is very <br />helpful because they trust him. He also did a great job on detective's <br />work, so he has the background needed to be chief. <br />Some of the extras I feel Tim has is his ability to work with fellow <br />officers (during the three years I was mayor I was the representative <br />to the police department and never once was there n complaint against <br />him).
