Councilmember Blanchard had no report. <br />Councilmember Doty reported that the Park and Rec <br />Commission is develupinq rccunn:u:ndations for guide- <br />lines on park planning funds and matching funds. <br />Councilmember Doty reported the Park and Rec, <br />Commission had received a report from the Grove - <br />land Park foundation, and they have raised <br />approximately $6,600 over the past year and a <br />half. He recommended that they receive some type <br />of commendation. <br />Mayor McCarty asked that Staff draw up a resolution <br />of commendation for the Groveland Park group, and <br />that an article be published in the next newsletter. <br />Mayor McCarty reported he had received a letter of <br />resignation from Sharon McCarthy Jones. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Blanchard to accept the <br />resignation from Sharon McCarthy Jones, with regrets, <br />from her position on the Planning Commission. <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley presented copies of 17. Report of <br />a memo he had received from the Met Council, Clerk/Adminis <br />concerning the review schedule for the Anoka for <br />County/Blaine Airport Master Plan. He stated <br />he would put the issue of the Master Plan on <br />the agenda for the next agenda session. <br />Motion/Second: Doty/Blanchard to adjourn the 18.
