Call to Order Mayor McCarty at 7:32 PM on September 26, 1983. MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Linke, Hankner, 2. Roll Call $ anc ar , oty and Mayor McCarty. ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/ Administrator Pauley and Public Works/Community Development Director Johnson. Motion/Second: Doty/Blanchard to approve the 3. Approval of September 1983 minutes as corrected. Minutes: September 12, 5 ayes 0 nays 1983 Motion Carried Don Frauendienst, 8335 Pleasant View Drive, stated 4. Residents Re - he has lived at that address for the past six years, quests and and for the past six months has been trying to get Comments from a street light put in. He stated there is a light the Floor on each end of the street, and they would like one in the middle, due to vandalism, and they have had seven out of eight home owners sign the petition for the street light. He explained the eighth person was the neighbor across the street from him, who does not want the light in his yard. Mayor McCarty replied that the Council had approved the installation of a street light across the street from Mr. Frauendienst, but there turned out to be electrical problems in that spot, and a new location must be found. Clerk/Administrator Pauley stated that he has asked Staff to meet with the residents and find a new location for the light which is agreeable to them. Motion/Second: McCarty/Doty to direct Staff to give the Council, for consideration at their next agenda session, a list of three alternative sites for the street light on Pleasant View Drive. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried
