Call to Order <br />Mayor McCarty at 7:32 PM on September 26, 1983. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Linke, Hankner, 2. Roll Call <br />$ anc ar , oty and Mayor McCarty. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley and Public Works/Community <br />Development Director Johnson. <br />Motion/Second: Doty/Blanchard to approve the 3. Approval of <br />September 1983 minutes as corrected. Minutes: <br />September 12, <br />5 ayes 0 nays 1983 <br />Motion Carried <br />Don Frauendienst, 8335 Pleasant View Drive, stated <br />4. Residents Re - <br />he has lived at that address for the past six years, <br />quests and <br />and for the past six months has been trying to get <br />Comments from <br />a street light put in. He stated there is a light <br />the Floor <br />on each end of the street, and they would like one <br />in the middle, due to vandalism, and they have had <br />seven out of eight home owners sign the petition <br />for the street light. He explained the eighth person <br />was the neighbor across the street from him, who does <br />not want the light in his yard. <br />Mayor McCarty replied that the Council had approved <br />the installation of a street light across the street <br />from Mr. Frauendienst, but there turned out to be <br />electrical problems in that spot, and a new location <br />must be found. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley stated that he has asked <br />Staff to meet with the residents and find a new <br />location for the light which is agreeable to them. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Doty to direct Staff to give <br />the Council, for consideration at their next agenda <br />session, a list of three alternative sites for the <br />street light on Pleasant View Drive. <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />
