If, however, you have
been involved in buying or selling properly more recently,
you may have been asked the question, "Is the property lo.
cated in an area designated by the Federal Government as
being flood prone?" You may not have had the slightest
idea whether or not the property was located in a flood
prone area, or, for that matter, what a flood prone area was
or what the possible consequences of being in a flood
prone area might be. The intent of this article is to make you
a little more aware of the National Flood Insurance Pro"
gram and its impacts within Blaine.
Conlinued Page 2
SPRING AND SUMMER
POTPOURRI
Spring Clean -Up ;''fr" Eoae
The City's Spring Cleanup p0o urf; `r4, 2s,
Program for large appliances SQR' eyR1cE E7 stcs
and furniture will begin atic
May 3rd and continue through that week.
