MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Director of Public works/Community Development <br />DATE: November 3, 1983 <br />SUBJECT: DRAFT ORDINANCE• NOS. 150 AND 351 FOR WETLAND <br />BOUNDARY ALTERATIONS WITHIN MILLER INDUSTRIAL PARK <br />Attached are copies of proposed Ordinance Nos. 350 and 351 <br />prepared as directed by the City Council at their October 24, <br />1983 meeting. Also attached is a copy of the letter dated <br />October 31, 1983 from Braun Environmental Laboratories responding <br />to the questions raised at the October 24, 1983 meeting. I <br />have been in touch with Mr. Tom Peterson of the Ramsey Soil and <br />Water Conservation Service and a letter will be forthcoming to <br />the City prior to Monday's Council meeting. As soon as the <br />letter is received, copies will be distributed to the Council. <br />Also attached is a copy of the wetland boundary map referred to <br />as Exhibit 1 at the public hearing held on October 24, 1983. <br />On that boundary map the areas have been highlighted to indicate <br />the differences between the Braun report, the Barr report and <br />those areas regulated by the current ordinance. This map is the <br />preliminary document and a final document will be prepared to <br />be attached to the first and second reading of the ordinance and <br />for publication purposes. <br />If you have any questions on the attached material, please <br />contact me. <br />JCJ/bc <br />Attachments <br />P.S.
