Roll Call <br />Doty, Linke and Mayor McCarty. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley and Public Works/Community <br />Development Director Johnson. <br />Paul Wellstone, Special Assistant to the Governor <br />on the energy policy, presented the Council with 3. <br />Presentatoin by <br />booklets detailing the Governor's energy program, Paul Wellstone, <br />and explained the Governor's communityever Regarding <br />program, stating that Mounds View is one ofg17 Governor s <br />Community Energ; <br />communities in the State that has been selected to <br />shirt the program. Janice Thompson presented Program <br />computer print-outs, showing the data thatMounds <br />View has supplied as far as their current energy <br />use, and the projected future energy use. <br />Mr. Wellstone answered questions on the data given, <br />and stated they hope to get representatives of the <br />17 communities together by December to get working <br />on rho program. <br />The Council thanked Mr. Wellstone and Ms. Thompson <br />for their presentations, and assured them the City <br />would be ready wherevcr the communities were called <br />together. <br />Motion/Second; Doty/Linke to approve the September 4.
