O tQ.Ily,r4� <br />June 28, 1982 <br />Mounds, View city council <br />Mounds View city Nall <br />2401 111ghway #10 <br />Mounds View, hlfnnesota 55472 <br />Proposal <br />Vacate the partial street right-of-way between Laport Drive and <br />Arden Avenue returning it to the property owners who purchased <br />lots from the development from which this property was obtained. <br />Synopsis <br />During the development of the property on the eastern border of the <br />right-of-way in question, this property was set aside for the possi- <br />ble development of the street as described above. This street would <br />have been an extension of Fairchild. Property from the lots on the <br />western boundary was never obtained. Recently a decision was made <br />by the city to create five additional lots on Arden Avenue which <br />effectively eliminates the possibility and need for this proposed <br />street. <br />Three of the five property owners, <br />decision, have pWho would be affected by this <br />etitioned the city to approve this action. The. <br />reasons for taking this action are: <br />I, By virtue of the approved development on Arden Avenue, <br />this street cannot be completed as proposed, <br />2. In its present state, rile property has been used for: <br />�• A dumping ground for unwanted trash, leaves, unused <br />building materials, dead trees, etc. <br />b.
