MEMO TO: Clerk -Administrator and City Council <br />FROM: Building Inspector <br />` I - <br />DATE: November 14, 1983 / <br />SUBJECT: NORB YENISII GRADING PERMIT <br />DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT NO. 83-61 <br />Mr. Norb Yenish, proposed developer of the 70 unit motel to <br />be located next to McDonald's, has requested that he be <br />granted to perform the initial ground and grading work for <br />his development. Depending on weather conditions, he plans <br />to get at least the foundation work done with the structure <br />itself starting in the spring. if that is permissible with <br />the Council, staff would issue permits accordingly pursuant <br />to approved plan included in the development agreement and <br />require a substantial escrow to cover potential erosion control <br />measurements ($4,000 - $5,000). In addition, Rice Creek <br />Watershed District has issued a permit. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Either authorize staff to proceed with the <br />partial 1 perm is (grading and foundation) with proper escrows <br />or direct us to require full permit and fees at this time. <br />SAR/bc <br />
