ORDINANCE NO, 71-16 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.09 <br />OF THE VILLAGE CODE RELATING TO <br />COLLECTION OF COSTS INCURRED IN <br />EXTINGUISHING FIRES <br />THE VILLAGE: COUNCIL OF THE Village of New Hope ordains; <br />Section 1. Chapter 9 of the Village Code is <br />hereby amended by adding thereto Section 9.09 to read <br />as follows: "'j <br />N <br />Oil \" Section 9.09.Fire Control CostsV. <br />�Every person, firm or corporation that •` ,,�' is, not a resident of the Village or the <br />w owner of real property -in the•Village subject . <br />Y` td real property taxes, shall be liable <br />br all expenses incurred by the Village <br />1 Iut/) \ 14� fighting or preventing the spread o£, <br />q� p Pecord <br />' extinguishing any fire caused by or <br />•1?� sulting £rom his or its acts, negligence <br />omissions. Thereupon, <br />the Clerk -Treasurer shall bill the person, <br />fire, or corporation liable therefor, as . <br />above provided. No license of any person, <br />firm or corporation liable. for the expenses <br />incurred in fire control as provided above, <br />shall he renewed if the licensee is in <br />default in payment of any bill hereunder.' <br />Section 2.
