PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />i-� CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Regular Meeting <br />+ � �g r+ � January 9, 1984 <br />V N A9 u Y r L U Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor McCarty at 7:31 PM on January 9, 1984. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Linke, Hankner, <br />anc ar , Doty and Mayor McCarty. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers and Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley. <br />Motion/Second: Doty/Linke to approve the December <br />TF7minutes as corrected. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />There were no residents requests or comments from <br />the floor. <br />Motion/Second: Dotv/Hankner to approve the consent <br />agenda, as presented, and waive the reading of the <br />resolutions. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor McCarty pointed out the Council had just been <br />informed by Park Director Anderson of the wrong <br />transmission being placed in the truck the City <br />just received, and stated the problem should be <br />attempted to be resolved right away. He also <br />expressed concern with the type of seats to be <br />supplied in the new patrol cars, as once they are <br />modified to make room for the radio equipment, the <br />shorter patrolmen have trouble getting the seat far <br />enough forward to drive comfortably, and he <br />recommended bucket seats. He also stated that in <br />checking, he has found out that low gear lock -out <br />cannot be supplied with a tilt steering wheel, <br />yet the bid received from Minor Ford includes both <br />options. <br />.1.
