Mounds View City Council. December 27, 198� <br />Regular ,Meeting Page Four <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />Attorney Meyers had no report. <br />12. Report of -- <br />Attorney <br />Councilmember Doty reported the Personnel, Pension 13. Reports of <br />and Labor Relations Committee of the League of Councilmembers <br />Cities would be meeting on January 11, and will be <br />discussing equal pay for equal work. <br />Councilmember Linke had no report. <br />Councilmember Hankner had no report. <br />Councilmember Blanchard had no report. <br />Mayor McCarty advised the Council of Commission <br />appointments which are coming up. He stated he <br />plans on reappointing Dick Paradise, for a 3 year <br />term, and that Glen Dawson has indicated he is <br />resigning, which is a 2 year term, and that Lowell <br />Uber will be the Chairman of the Police Civil Service <br />Commission as 1984 is the last year of his 3 year term. <br />Mayor McCarty explained that his feeling is that <br />as long as a commission member wishes to remain <br />on a commission, he will reappoint them, as long <br />as they have been doing a responsible job. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley advised the Council that <br />he and Technician Kampel and Building Inspector <br />Rose had met with Robert Balch, who is working <br />with Bill Beim on the Pinecrest Properties, and <br />it appears they are getting ready to move on the <br />development. Upon Council questioning, he stated <br />he would check into the back taxes to insure they <br />have been paid, and the proper accounts credited <br />in the City. <br />Motion/Second: Linke/Doty to adjourn the meeting <br />at :+ <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />14 <br />15 <br />Report of <br />Administratur <br />Adjournment <br />Motion Carried <br />"F. <br />ted, <br />
