RESOLUTION NO. 1703 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE. OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE, PLANNED <br />USE DEVELOPMENT FOR THE SILVER LAKE WOODS DEVELOPMENT <br />WHEREAS, as part of the planned unit development approved <br />by the City for the Silver. Lake Woods development, Lot 1, Block 2, <br />Tract F of Registered Land Survey No. 360, was designated as a B-2 <br />zoning district; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed use for this parcel within the <br />planned unit development was for an office building; and <br />WHEREAS, this parcel, as a result of platting, is known as <br />Lot 1, Block 10, Silver Lake Woods; and <br />WHEREAS, a portion of Lot 1, Block 10, Silver Lake Woods is <br />the proposed site for a Burger King restaurant; and <br />WHEREAS, a restaurant, as proposed, is inconsistant with <br />the original planned unit development designation of this parcel <br />as a B-2 zone with an office building as its proposed use; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has received correspondence from both <br />M 5 E Realty Co., and the Kraus Anderson Corporation agreeing to a <br />B-3 zoning on the portion of Lot 1, Block 10, proposed for the <br />Burger King restaurant and also to the amendment to the original <br />P.U.D. approved for the Silver Lake Woods development, <br />respectively; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed <br />this development request and the request to amend the P.U.D. as <br />previously approved by the City, and has recommended approval of <br />the amendment by adopting Planning Commission Resolution No. <br />100-83; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this proposal and <br />concurs with the Planning Commission's recommendation; <br />
