MILLER, CHAIRMAN <br />MAMA COMMITTEE ON LA80R RELATIONS SU85CRIBER <br />SERVICE CONTRACTS <br />2 y• <br />DATE: JANUARY 9, 1984 <br />SUBJ: LABOR RELATIONS SUBSCRIBER SERVICE <br />The MAMA Board recently appointed Jerry Dulgar, Jack Irving, <br />and me, to renegotiate the agreement between the league of <br />Minnesota Cities and Labor Relations Associates, Inc., for <br />special subscriber services. Assisting in that negotiation <br />was Vern Peterson from the Association of Metropolitan Muni- <br />cipalities. As a result of those negotiations, the fee schedule <br />will be increased for 1984-1985, by 5% as follows: <br />Population Category 1983-1984 Fee 1984-1985 Fee <br />Under 5,000 § 700 $ 735 <br />5,000 - 9,999 1,060 1,110 <br />10,000 - 14,999 1,485 1.,560 <br />15,000 - 19,999 1,970 2,070 <br />20,000 - 29,999 2,545 2,670 <br />Over - 30,000 3,175 3,335 <br />Invoices and copies of the 1984-85 agreement are being sent to <br />all cities currently using the special subscriber services. <br />Those MAMA cities not using the special subscriber services <br />will receive a copy of this letter and copies of the 1984-85 <br />agreement. If a non -subscribing city wishes to use the special <br />subscriber services, they may do so by remitting the appropriate <br />fee to the League of Minnesota Cities - Labor Relations Subscri- <br />ber Service. Population is based upon most recent Metropolitan <br />Council population estimates. Remittance of the special subscri- <br />ber fee should be forwarded to the League of Minnesota Cities <br />by no later than March 1, 1984. <br />Services provided by the Labor Relations Subscription Service <br />include: <br />General Membership Services <br />This agreement provides for two types of labor rela- <br />tions services.
