Call to Order <br />Mayor McCarty at 7:30 PM on February'13, 1984. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Hankner, Blanchard, 2. Roll Call <br />Doty, Linke ana Mayor McCarty. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Attorney Rushton and Clerk/Admini- <br />strator PauIey. <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Blanchard to approve the 3. Approval of <br />January =, 984 minutes as corrected. Minutes: <br />January 23, 1984 <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />There were no residents requests or comments from 4. Residents Re- <br />quests and <br />the floor. Comments from <br />the Floor <br />Robert Beutel made a presentation to the Council, 5. Presentation on <br />reviewing the rules and responsibilities of the Task Activities of <br />Force, and reviewed the issues of updating the Metropolitan <br />aviation chapter, and the process to be used, as Council Aviation <br />well as the tentative schedule of. -Task Force Policy Plan <br />meetings at the various airports. He advised Task Force <br />the IDceting at the Anoka County Airport taoul d be <br />in approximately four weeks. <br />Mr. Beutel recommended the Council go through their <br />old Aviation Cha ter and mark it up with their questions <br />and comments, ang he advised the Council on how <br />he would recommend they proceed. <br />Dennis Petrini, 8434 Sunnyside Road, asked Mr. <br />Beutel's function with the Council and the airport. <br />Mr. Beutel replied he is a resident of Mounds View, <br />as well as a pilot, and he wasinvolved in testifying <br />before the Legislature regarding the upgrading of <br />the Anoka County Airpport, and that he was appointed <br />to the Task Force. He stated he is against expan- <br />sion of the airport, but in favor of some of the <br />proposed changes. <br />
