Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />---------------------------------------------- <br />Mayor McCarty questioned having to replace or upgrade <br />the storm sewer for any additional runoff. Director <br />Thatcher replied he has not yet determined if any <br />upgrading would be required. <br />Mayor McCarty stated he would like to know the total <br />project cost to complete the project to where it would <br />be acceptable to get the release of MSA funds. <br />Councilmember Links asked if the estimates given <br />include sidewalks. Director Thatcher replied they <br />did not, just the street, curb and gutter. <br />Director Thatcher advised that bids should be accepted <br />by June 1, and that he would have estimates ready for <br />the next agenda session. It was agreed to discuss <br />the issue further then. <br />Attorney Meyers reported the City has received two <br />proposals relative to the evaluation of the Anoka <br />County/Blaine Airport master plan. He reviewed <br />the proposals submitted by Transplant, Inc., and <br />CH2M Hill, and advised that one more is expected. <br />He recommended the City have all three firms come <br />in, at the City's expense, and meet with them, and <br />then make a decision on which firm to use. He also <br />recommended that a budget be appropriated up to <br />$10,000. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Doty to authorize Staff to <br />set up a special budget for the air uLt evaluation <br />consultant, in the amount of up to �10,000, from <br />the contingency account. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />March 26, 1984 <br />Page Five <br />-------------- <br />12. Reports of <br />Commission has been very busy, and they are Councilmember; <br />in the process of working on an ordinance regarding <br />on -street parking, which they will be forwarding <br />to the Council. <br />Councilmember Doty had no report. <br />Councilmember Linke reported he had attended the <br />Ramsey County League dinner on March 21, which <br />many Legislators attended, and it was a very <br />informational meeting. <br />Councilmember Hankner had no report. <br />
