Mounds View City Council Regular Meeting ---------------------------------------------- Mayor McCarty questioned having to replace or upgrade the storm sewer for any additional runoff. Director Thatcher replied he has not yet determined if any upgrading would be required. Mayor McCarty stated he would like to know the total project cost to complete the project to where it would be acceptable to get the release of MSA funds. Councilmember Links asked if the estimates given include sidewalks. Director Thatcher replied they did not, just the street, curb and gutter. Director Thatcher advised that bids should be accepted by June 1, and that he would have estimates ready for the next agenda session. It was agreed to discuss the issue further then. Attorney Meyers reported the City has received two proposals relative to the evaluation of the Anoka County/Blaine Airport master plan. He reviewed the proposals submitted by Transplant, Inc., and CH2M Hill, and advised that one more is expected. He recommended the City have all three firms come in, at the City's expense, and meet with them, and then make a decision on which firm to use. He also recommended that a budget be appropriated up to $10,000. Reports of Commission has been very busy, and they are Councilmember; in the process of working on an ordinance regarding on -street parking, which they will be forwarding to the Council. Councilmember Doty had no report. Councilmember Linke reported he had attended the Ramsey County League dinner on March 21, which many Legislators attended, and it was a very informational meeting. Councilmember Hankner had no report.
