MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 108-84 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE REZONING Or <br />CERTAIN PROPERTIES LOCATED ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF SUNNYS?i: <br />ROAD BETWEEN WOODCREST DRIVE AND COUNTY ROAD H-2 <br />WHEREAS, there exists along the west side of Sunnyside <br />Road, between Woodcrest Drive and County Road H-2, six double <br />bungelows; and <br />WHEREAS, these six double bungelows were built prior to <br />1960; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's zoning map shows that the properties <br />were, and plan to remain, R-1, single family; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has interpreted that the <br />intent of the Comprehensive Plan for low density can include one <br />and two family unit buildings; and <br />WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan designation for this area �I <br />is low density; and <br />WHEREAS, the owners of the double bungelows and the <br />surrounding neighborhood have requested and agree, <br />respectively, that the property should be rezoned from R-1 to R-2; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the rezoning from R-1 to R-2 would make the <br />structures on the lot Code conforming; <br />NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View <br />Planning Commission recommends to the City Council that the <br />property described as Lots 1 through 8, Block 6, Twelve Oaks <br />Second Addition, be rezoned from R-1 to R-2. <br />ATTEST: <br />Adopted this 2nd day of May, 1984. <br />Chairman <br />(SEAL) <br />Director of Public Works/ <br />Community Development <br />
