" -3- <br />ARTICLE VIII - DUTIES OF SUB -COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSONS <br />A. General responsibilities include the coordination with the <br />Foundation chairperson. <br />B. Responsible for work as outlined under their individual committee <br />assignments as well as recruiting necessary workers to insure that <br />the duties are carried out. <br />C. Responsible for presenting written reports to the Board of Directors <br />and for setting up sub -committee meetings as deemed necessary. <br />D. The following standing committees are hereby established: <br />1. Fundraising Committee - shall be responsible for establishing <br />fundraising activities. <br />2. Publicity Committee - shall be responsible for quarterly news- <br />letters and all publicity before meetings and special events <br />including signs, flyers, radio and t.v. coverage, newspaper <br />articles and pictures. <br />3. City Liason Committee - shall be responsible for coordination <br />with the City staff and Parks and Recreation Commission to ensure <br />that all activities are well communicated and documented between <br />the City and the Foundation. <br />4. Maintenance and Safety Committee - shall be responsible for <br />securing people t insure that the park and general activities <br />are kept in a clean and neat manner. In addition, that all <br />programs are operated in a safe, clean and positive environment. <br />5.
