Mounds View City Council May 29, 1984 <br />Regular Meeting Page Four <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br />There was no one present to address the rezoning. <br />Attorney Meyers stated that the record should show <br />that notice was sent on this parcel to the property <br />owner and published in the legal paper, <br />Mayor McCarty closed the public hearing and reopened <br />the regular meeting at 8:03 p.m. <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Linke to have the First 14, First Reading <br />Reading of Ordinance No. 365 Amending the Municipal Ord. No. 365 <br />Code of Mounds View by Amending Chapter 41 Entitled <br />"Specific Rezonings", and waive the reading. <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />There was discussion Wore the vote was taken on the <br />previous motion. <br />Attorney Meyers indicated that �bQ Council should be <br />aware that this parcel would be brought into conformance with the <br />comprehensive plan with this rezoning. <br />Director Thatcher recommended the hiring of a fulltime 15. Report of Dir, <br />temporary worker, Mr. Galen Kelash, for a duration of of Public(^ —k <br />66 days during the summer. Community% e <br />opment <br />Motion/Second: Linke/Hankner to approve the recommended <br />r ng of days at $5.00/hour. <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Director Thatcher reviewed discussions with the state <br />on the signal light at County Road J and Trunk Highway <br />10. He stated that after the state had proposed a <br />second modification to the intersection and he told <br />them they would have to pay, they decided to stay with <br />the first modification. Iie noted that it will all be <br />covered by MSA funds. <br />Attorney Meyers had nothing to report. <br />Mayor McCarty closed the regular meeting and reopened <br />it at 8:21 p.m. <br />16. Report of <br />Attorney <br />17. <br />Mayor McCarty stated that it had been discovered that <br />there was a defect in the notice procedures for the <br />next two public hearings on the agenda and therefore <br />the Council would not be able to hold the hearings as <br />planned.
