Mounds View City Council June 25, 1984 <br />Regular Meeting Page Two <br />--------------------- ------------------- - ---------- ----------------- <br />/"� Motion/Second: McCarty/Hankner to approve the . <br />renewal ot the liquor license for Loose Ends on 10. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion Carried <br />Director Thatcher reported the Planning Commission 8. <br />Report of <br />will be holding special informational meetings, <br />Director of <br />on July 11 at 7 PM and July 18 at 7:30 PM, regarding <br />Public Works/ <br />the rezonings that have been tabled. He added that <br />Community Dvlpt. <br />the Planning Commission would like to have a joint <br />meeting with the Council to discuss the Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br />Mayor McCarty recommended these meetings be coordi- <br />nated with Attorney Meyers. <br />Director Thatcher informed the Council the Planning <br />Commission would like to hire Dave Licht to do a <br />comprehensive analysis of the rezonings, and they <br />would like to have him at one or both meetings in <br />July, along with Attorney Meyers. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley stated Director Thatcher <br />and the Planning Commission'have been requested to state <br />exactly <br />what they would like Mr. Licht to do, and then <br />submit it to him for his estimate. He recommended <br />the Council hold off giving approval until the <br />proposal is received from Mr. Licht. He stated <br />they would still have time to approve it at the <br />July 9 meeting. <br />The Council agreed to meet with the Planning <br />Commission on July 30 at 6:30 PM. <br />Director Thatcher requested the Council set an <br />improvement hearing for Pinecrest Properties for <br />8:35 PM on July 9. He stated the improvements have <br />been petitioned for by 100% of the property owners. <br />Motion/Second: McCarty/Blanchard to set an improve- <br />ment hearing for Pinecrest Properties for July 9, <br />1984 at 8:35 PM. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion Carried <br />Councilmember Blanchard stated she had received two <br />calls asking why the street sweeper did not have <br />flashing lights. <br />Director Thatcher replied the street sweeper is hired <br />out in the Spring, and has not been in the City <br />-- ' recently. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley suggested getting the <br />license number of the vehicle in question, so it <br />
