Attorney Meyers reported he had been in communication with Transplan, Inc., and expects a brief from them soon. Councilmember Blanchard noted the Festival in the 13. He added he was also very impressed with the Festival in the Park. Councilmember Doty asked that the Grant Merritt bill be on the agenda for the next meeting. Councilmember Hankner stated she felt an amendment to the intoxicating liquor ordinance would be very beneficial to the City. Councilmember Hankner reported she had spoken with Jan Quick, and the preliminary figures from the `Festival in the Park look like they did make some I coney. The Commission will be meeting July 10 to review the figures. Councilmember Hanker, stated she felt the Festival Commission members should he recognized individually for the hard work they did.
