RESOLUTION NO. 1767 <br />�.y CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />r COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION COMMENDING MOUNDS VIEW FESTIVITIES COMMISSIONER <br />JAN QUICK <br />FOR THE 1984 "FESTIVAL IN THE PARK" <br />WHEREAS, Jan Quick was an integral and valued Commission- <br />er of the 1984 Festivities Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Festivities Commission coordin- <br />ated the loth Annual "Festival in the Park" celebration conducted <br />on Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July B, 1984; and <br />WHEREAS, the Festival was attended by over 7,000 Mounds <br />View residents; and <br />WHEREAS, highlights of the 1984 "Festival in the Park" <br />included an ecumenical church service, refreshments, community <br />parade, showmobile entertainment, bingo, youth games, dunk tank <br />and arts and crafts fair; and <br />WHEREAS, the afternoon and evening festivities were con- <br />cluded with a spectacular fireworks display; and <br />WHEREAS, the weekends activities were largely made poss- <br />ible through your generous and unselfish giving of time and <br />labor. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of <br />the City of Mounds View, on behalf of the residents of Mounds <br />View, hereby congratulate and heartily commend Jan Quick for her <br />outstanding volunteer contribution. <br />Adopted this 23rd day of July, 1984. <br />ATTEST: <br />nayor mccdrey V <br />(Q <br />Co ci mem er Blanchard Councilmember Dot <br />
