Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meett.ng August 27, 1984 <br />------------------------ Page Seven <br />---- ------- ------- <br />The representative from Kinder Care stated that a <br />survey was done, which revealed an excess of working <br />mothers compared to available licensed day care centers. <br />Councilmember Hankner stated she had not been able to <br />find anything on a planning basis to deny the request, <br />but she was bothered by the placement of the <br />facility. <br />Councilmember Doty questioned whether the 17 parking <br />spaces planned would be sufficient. <br />The Kinder Care representative stated they felt they <br />would be, and they do have arrangements with the <br />church to use their lot for the Staff if the need <br />arises. <br />Motion Second: McCarty/Linke to approve the Kinder Care <br />eve opment proposal per the Planning Commission <br />recommendations and resolution. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion Carried <br />It was noted there was no one present from Spring Lake 9. <br />Park to make the presentation.
