MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 121-84 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE NO. 161-84 <br />WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. EJward Werdien of 6940 Silver Lake Road <br />have requested City approval for a minor subdivision (2 lots into 1) <br />within the City of Mounds View; and <br />WHEREAS, they are also requesting a conditional use permit <br />for an accessory building with a size of 24' by 24' (576 square <br />feet); and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 40 of the City Code states that if an <br />accessory building is sized in excess of 216 square feet a conditional <br />use permit must be approved; and <br />WHEREAS, the architecture of the accessory building will be <br />compatible to the main structure; and <br />*RHEREAS, the use of the accessory building will be for home <br />garden equipment and utensils; and <br />WHEREAS, there shall be no driveway to the building; and <br />WHEREAS, the building shall meet construction codes; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission recommends approval of the conditional use permit for an <br />accessory building provided that the following requirements are <br />adhered to: <br />1) The minor subdivision must be platted and recorded as <br />one lot. <br />2) Other accessory buildings on the lot must be removed. <br />3) If the use of the accessory building changes, this <br />conditional use permit is null and void. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission <br />direct staff to forward this resolution to the City Council prior to <br />approval of the minutes. <br />ATTEST; <br />(SEAL) <br />Adopted this 5th day of September, 1984. <br />Chairman <br />Director of Public Works/ <br />Community Development <br />
